v3.6.1: the red-line summary corrections
v3.6.1 is the canonical full edition (575 pages). It corrects v3.6 of 29 October. It ships with brief v3.5 and essay v1.5, both unchanged. No red line, rating or threshold changed. Each change is recorded in Appendix J.
The red-line summaries
v3.6 corrected the introduction’s red-line summary; the Abstract and Extended Abstract still said that any one red line would retire the thesis. They now say it would retire or downgrade it. Red Lines 7 and 9, and Condition A of Red Line 18, downgrade. The falsifiable test and the conditions that sever the monetary link both say that Condition A of Red Line 18 weakens rather than kills. The boxes are unchanged, and the trip wires page already carried these severities.
Smaller corrections
- Red Line 17 is restated from its box under Pledgeability Without Due Diligence: dispersion relative to opaque comparables, not dispersion falling as coverage rises.
- Two sentences that ranked the thesis’s failure modes by likelihood, in the Closed Sovereign Stack and Risk chapters, now say what the instruments see.
- The issuance-discipline argument is made once, under Pledgeability; Economic Linkage points to it.
Brief and essay
The brief stays at v3.5 and the essay at v1.5.
